Above is a video clip of CNBC’s Larry Kudlow interviewing Governor Palin on June 25, 2008.  Environmental Capital notes that Palin is ready to sell McCain on the idea of drilling in ANWR and that she says that McCain should call an audible on his policy, which has until now been opposed to drilling there, and should open it up to oil drilling.

In the interview, conducted before Palin thought she would be McCain’s running mate, she states “Sen. McCain is wrong on [the oil drilling issue] issue” and “I think he’s going to evolve into eventually supporting ANWR opening also…  I’d like the opportunity to change his mind about ANWR.”

Well, now’s her chance.  (And we have a feeling she is going to accomplish that goal, given McCain’s recent success with playing politics on the offshore drilling issue.)
