Target: Sandy Springs Municipal Court
Goal: Demand that the man who killed his wife’s dog and then used the body to beat his wife receive the maximum jail sentence.
Recently a 27-year-old Sandy Springs, Georgia resident was arrested and charged with felony animal cruelty charges. The man, Emmanuel Alfredo Tadeo, reportedly brutally killed his wife’s Pomeranian and then used the dead dog’s body to beat his wife. Spokesman for the Sandy Springs Police Department, Steve Rose, stated that the incident is “one of the worst cases of animal cruelty that we’ve ever seen.”
Tadeo was arrested when officers responded to a domestic violence call. Mr. Tadeo was reported to be intoxicated and had been arguing with his wife, Andrea Jill Armintrout. During the argument Tadeo reportedly kicked and stepped on Armintrout’s seven pound Pomeranian Cooper before snapping the animal’s neck. He then used the body of the deceased dog to beat Armintrout .
Tadeo’s charges have been upgraded to aggravated assault, aggravated battery, battery, and two counts of cruelty to animals. He is currently being held without bond.
If convicted, demand that Mr. Emmanuel Alfredo Tadeo receive the maximum jail sentence. A man violent enough to not only brutally murder a defenseless animal, but to then use the corpse to beat his wife, does not deserve leniency. Tadeo is a danger to society. His shocking and heartless crimes should not go unpunished.
Dear Sandy Springs Municipal Court,
Mr. Emmanuel Alfredo Tadeo stands accused of brutally killing his wife’s seven pound Pomeranian, Cooper, then using the animal’s body to beat his wife. Tadeo reportedly stomped on and kicked the animal before ultimately killing it by snapping it’s neck.
Cooper’s death was shocking and uncalled for. Witnessing her pet’s murder must have been shocking enough for Tadeo’s wife, Andrea Jill Armintrout, but then being beaten with the animal’s body must have been a horror beyond words. Tadeo’s actions show extreme tendencies towards violence. He is a danger to society, and these tendencies need to be addressed now before Tadeo acts out violently again. Please consider prosecuting Tadeo to the fullest extent of the law for the death of Cooper and the violence against Ms. Armintrout. Thank you.
