Actually, I just watched this on Animal Planet…it’s a true story.
Goonch Catfish is very big and heavy and powerful but fresh-eat carefully. 8 feet height / 9 feet height. 85 Kg / 150 Kg / 200 Kg and more. 40 feet deep of water in the river…Goonch Catfish mouth is full of teeth and is also very powerful they bite small fish hooks…learn how to catch a big Goonch Catfish
1. Rod Reel Strong Fishing
2. Take raw prawn
3. Big hook is very strong
i believe tihs is real because people see the big catfish in the mississppi river
This is a REAL photo and a REAL fish. I just watched the show on Animal Planet, and watched that old guy actually reel it in on a rod ‘n’ reel. It wieghed 161 pounds and is about 6ft long, although NOT large enough to be a “man eater” it proves that they do get BIG.
That was a good show, just wish he could have somehow managed to catch, or even catch a glimpse, of the giant Goonch that ate a freaking buffalo!
People would be absoluately shocked by how large catfish and sturgeon can get. In Washington when she was younger my mom told me about a dam there where on a clear day you could see the bottom, and a few times she swore she saw a catfish the size of a Volkswagon Van on the bottom.
That’s a big fish. I’m watching that guy right now trying to catch a giant catfish in Europe.
It’s real a monster in Cali River India.

They say that they get this large because they partialy burn the dead on the river banks and throw the reamins in the water. THey say its the diet of humans that is making them so large. I watched this show a couple days ago.
this guy is for real i bought the dvd river monsters when it came out and the only bad thing is he talks about man eater size but rarely are that size they should show really land some of the monsters
