Tomorrow Land…
Here is an intriguing opinion piece about bringing a monorail to Los Angeles. Given our recent post regarding the lack of direction surrounding the proposed Subway to the Sea, we thought we’d throw in another “alternative”.
Without having done any research into the accuracy of the claims in this piece which was written by the founder and director of the “Wilshire Monorail Project”, the article did seem compelling on its face. Having grown up riding the monorail at Disneyland also makes this a sentimental favorite. We’ll expound on this alternative if we come across additional information either pro or con for the monorail.
Update: Here is an interesting analysis of a proposed Wilshire monorail.
